Opera buffs! strip for calender and not a knicker in sight!

We are more used to the idea of getting dressed  up if you go to the Opera but for a change the Royal opera House was full of man and women wearing not many clothes in fact stark naked all in a good cause though.   Man and women from singers to backstage staff stripped to their birthday suit to pose for a calender to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.  A worthwhile charity check it on on the link.

The calendar gives all the stars the opportunity to “lay bare more than their artistic soul”, say the Royal Opera House, adding that while it retains the Opera House’s elegant style, there’s more than a “hint of cheek”.  Oh er misses.

Cover girl of the £10 calendar is award-winning ballet dancer Sian Murphy, 30, who poses in a royal box wearing nothing but a sprinkling of diamonds and a swathe of red velvet to cover her modesty.  Sian says Her picture,  for her father, who survived cancer.

Pointe ballet shoe mistress Catherine Ladd, below, makes her naked modelling debut against a swish of red velvet curtain, dedicating her photograph to her granny.

Two members of the orchestra pose with their instruments: principal harpist Emma Granger and violinist Caroline Clarke, dedicating their contribution to fellow orchestra member Keitaro Takayama, who died of cancer.

In a clever move to maximise appeal, each calendar features 12 men and 12 women, with two separate covers.  Can’s wait to see the mens calender lets hope hier is a few hotties!

Sales of the naked calendar are said to be likely to outstrip that of a Royal Ballet calendar released at the same time because in that edition, all the dancers are clothed.

The calendar sells for £10 from the Royal Opera House shop and website and, as all costs have been met from donations, all proceeds will go to Macmillan Cancer Support.

Go girls and boys I will be buying mine when they come out!

Gwyneth and a see through dress

Miss Paltrow hots it up in a lacy see through dress! Oh and you can see her underwear!

Daring, sexy and revealing dresses have become something of a tradition on the red carpet from award ceremonies to movie premieres.  Miss Paltrow has graced many a red carpet on both side fo te water and tis week she donned this little number when she arrived at the premier of Two Lovers in Paris this week.  Gwyneth stars with Joaquin Phoenix in this romantic film.

Gwyneth who is married to Chris Martin from Coldplay is now 36 and still has an enviable figure left very little to the imagination on the red carpet.

And can I see white gym socks?

The Oscar winning actress startled French crowds by stepping out in an astonishing lace dress which clearly showed off her white underwear beneath.  Okay Miss Gwyneth you should have gone commando with those knickers or at least very fine ones!!  I don’t like the dress at all and the undies look nasty too!

Miss Paltrow did not seem at all unphased by her apparent lack of dignity and smiled confidently at fans as she stood alongside U.S. director James Gray.  The papers said that “Her choice of dress is somewhat appropriate given the fact the actress shows off one of her breasts in the film”.  Okay does not matter if you flash your boobs in a film, it juts does not go and is frankly not nice at all!

Also maybe I just have no style but the shoes – love them but with your dress they look daft!  Gwynnie I think you need a bit of styling and look at your undies girlfriend.
