APPARENTLY up north we don’t take kindly to naked people!

French Connection in the centre of Manchester has rotating billboards with naked models!  It shows topless men and women,,,or er misses, less than what you see on a beach in any European country…but apparently we like to pick up the phone and moan our own tits off!

French Connection’s new advertising campaign showing naked models has spectacularly backfired, with shoppers branding the raunchy images ‘offensive’ and ‘unnecessary.’  Prudish passers-by got more than they bargained for as they walked past the windows of the chain’s stores when they copped an eyeful of top-naked models!  Okay a chest is a chest….. Why complain…… The posters of topless models with strategically placed ink drawings to cover their nudity below the waist have adorned the windows of the brands stores nationwide.

Pat from Bury complained..who is she and for Goodness sake…apparently she was shocked…”Oh my a boob!”

Thank God  Manchester City Council bosses said it was not their job to police a store’s advertising campaign and it was ‘all a matter of individual taste.’  Councillor Pat Karney said: ‘It’s not a priority for the council to police shop fronts in Manchester. These are all matters of public taste and reaction.

This is the Autumn/Winter 2013 campaign for the retailer which will run until December in print, outdoor and online.

You make your mind up shocking or not, I am old and prude (not really) and it is not shocking.
