Dita has been a very busy girl launching on the 24th September her  Fall 2013 Lingerie collection at Faire Frou Frou in Studio City, CA. Which was an invitation only affair to launching her new show, which starts tomorrow in New York aptly named Burlesque: Strip Strip Hooray! which opens at the Gramercy Theatre, New York, USA.

Dressed in seductive, vintage-inspired lingerie and a theatrical top hat burlesque star Dita is the perfect model for her latest range of Von Follies underwear.

Katie Price has been delivered another blow this week as her underwear range was dropped from Asda – during the same week her divorce from Peter Andre was finalised.

Shoppers snubbed the glamour model’s designs, leading the supermarket chain to ‘move on to new projects’.

Katie, 31, posed semi-naked for the launch of the lingerie range last year. She boasts that it was designed for ‘real’ women in mind.

However, Asda has decided to cut all ties and will stop stocking the lingerie.

The store said it had made the decision to drop her range after listening to their customers’ wishes.

A spokesman explained: ‘We always listen to our customers and they told us they wanted to see something new from us in the George range.

‘It’s true that we are no longer going to be stocking Katie Price’s lingerie range.   ‘There’s no hard feelings and we’ve both moved on to new projects.  ‘We wish Katie the best of luck in anything she does in the future.’ It comes in the same week Katie, formally known as Jordan, enlisted the help of a team of transvestites to launch her £20 new style guide.

Four men, including boyfriend Alex Reid, wore outrageous outfits to publicise Standing Out: My Look, My Style, My Life at Selfridges in London.  Katie wore a an OTT red dress and Marilyn Monroe-style dress while cage-fighter Reid donned a gold lame leotard which she was seen wearing in Ibiza.

But Andrex have gone one step further with this nightmare horror moment and their latest campaign sees sexy long legged women walking along a busy high street in only their underwear with a roll of toilet tissue trailing from their knickers.

Ten models wore the underwear designed by Ayten Gasson. Ayten loves underwear as the following photos show.    In 2004, Ayten  graduated from Central St Martins in print and began her career in lingerie by collaborating with Tabooboo to create an exclusive range of 50’s inspired printed silk lingerie for Selfridges.

Ayten successfully sought funding from the Princes Trust, an organisation established by the Prince of Wales in 1976 to help young people overcome barriers and set up their own businesses. Her first collection sold in London and across boutiques on the South Coast.   Since then Ayten Gasson has developed several signature styles of skirted and peek a boo knickers, kimono tops, teddies and slips, all whilst maintaining her firm commitment to using UK workers and UK suppliers. Her lace is sourced from the last remaining mills based in Nottingham, and she continues to explore vintage designs and traditional fabrics with an eye to ethical and sustainable sources.

After showing off the knickers, the models handed out goody bags and raised money for women’s charity Look Good…Feel Better.

The lingerie launch coincides with Andrex’s new toilet tissue, Andrex Shea Butter. So softer bottoms and sexy udnerwear – SUPER!!

Agent Provocateur’s new lingerie campaign sees women enslave men to attend their every whim…oh yes please!

According to the Daily Mail recently they wrote the following – Women take over the world (WE ALREADY OWN IT!!) – or at least the woods – in Agent Provocateur’s latest lingerie and swimwear campaign, The Call of the Sirens…

Starring flame-haired supermodel Karen Elson as queen of the sirens along with her blonde and brunette ‘sirenettes’, the campaign, staged in an mist-wreathed forest – depicts ‘a decadent world where women are bold, fearless and liberated and men enslaved to attend their every whim’, say Agent Provocateur.

In one frame, Karen Elson, wearing a tartan and broderie anglaise lingerie set and ribbed white suspenders, subdues a knight who lies prostrate on the floor; in another, the model pins a hapless male model to the floor with her stilettos while she’s crowned with a thorn wreath. Even more fittingly, one of the enslaved male models has the surname Slave. How Dickensian.

With recent news reports suggesting lingerie sales are bucking trends related to the economic downturn, this lavish campaign marks the beginning of another successful season for Agent Provocateur.

The firm last week reported that it was ‘going from strength to strength’ as British couples keep recession at bay in the bedroom.  The company’s total sales have grown by 8 per cent since the end of March last year, despite the increasing pressure on retailers elsewhere.

Chief executive Garry Hogarth said: ‘Agent Provocateur is going from strength to strength. Despite the challenges of the global economic environment, we continue to trade strongly.’

Lois Winstone models for Ann Summers

She may have once have referred to herself as ‘my dad with boobs’, but in reality, Lois Winstone is a lot prettier than her father, gruff East End actor Ray Winstone who is an actor that is very  much in demand  famous for his roles in Henry VIII and Sexy beast to name but two.   Lois will also be hitting the big screens soon and she has just been unveiled as the latest face and figure of Ann Summers, the pictures from the new spring/summer campaign prove that the red-lipped, raven-haired 27-year-old has plenty of charm of her own – and not much of it looks to have come from dad Ray.

Until now the least exposed Winstone – her younger sister Jaime, girlfriend of Alfie Allen is far more frequently snapped on the social scene – she has been quietly working away at her acting career.

She may not be acting at the moment but in the past she has acted with her dad in such films as Nil By Mouth and the 2001 offering Last Orders – Lois has also starred in several episodes of The Bill and Holby City, as well as a role in When Evil Calls that she describes intriguingly as a ‘gothic schoolgirl lesbian’.

But it is this year that her star is to be truly in the ascendant.   She is set to hit the big screen in Father of Girls, filmed with her father, as well as a much-anticipated British thriller, The Rapture, starring Stephen Fry, Roger Daltry and Danny Dyer.

The Enchanted collection, modelled by Lois, is a sweet, vintage-inspired assortment of bras, camisoles and knickers, worked in pretty gingham and checked fabrics and with frill and ribbon details.

Lois follows other girls-about-town and celeb progeny Peaches and Pixie Geldof and Daisy Lowe into lingerie modelling – the former three starred in Agent Provocateur campaigns – as well as Amber Le Bon, daughter of Simon and Yasmin, who models lingerie label Myla’s latest swimwear collection.

Mel B leaves little to the imagination in her raunchy new burlesque show

Mel B as I have written about before has been rehearsing for her new role which she seems to be enjoying and who can blame her.   Cavorting with fit bare-chested male dancers and shimmying with female co-stars the former Spice Girl Mel B last week presented her burlesque act Peepshow in Las Vegas.

And although Leeds-born Mel didn’t go topless in the show, some of her fellow dancers did. She described the performance as ‘scantily clad, but in a classy way’.

With the rise of artists such as Dita Von Teese, the famous burlesque queen  has made burlesque become a high-profile form of entertainment, even considered an art form.   How pouring pink paint onto a man tied to a bed fits in with this is open debate but the former Scary Spice clearly enjoyed her role as a saucy striptease artist.   At the show in the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino, Mel B – whose full name is Melanie Brown – donned a range of increasingly provocative outfits.

The preview performance last week was not without incident, and a fire alarm was set off during the first song.  I wonder if strapping firemen arrived in their suits!!! Oh wonderous!   Despite this, the singer was given a standing ovation at the end of the show.  Mel B wears a range of increasingly provocative outfits in the burlesque show.

Mel B stars as Peep Diva, described as ‘a bold and powerful woman with all the answers’, who acts as the mistress of ceremonies.   She guides the timid Bo Peep, played by American TV starlet Kelly Monaco, on a journey of self-discovery and sexual awakening.   Kelly’s character blossoms into a ‘sexy, daring, provocative and more confident woman’ with Mel’s expert help.

The former Spice Girl said of her new role: ‘Because I’m coming out as a solo artist next year, I feel this show is putting me back in an arena that I’m most comfortable in and love doing most, which is performing and entertaining on stage.’   Mel added: ‘This is an original show. She was joined by several scantily-clad dancers.   ‘As a Spice Girl I would bring guys on the stage and whip them, so I think I’ve always been slightly naughty.’   In comparison to former bandmate Victoria, who is carving out a name for herself in the fashion industry, Mel B has had a relatively low profile since the end of her days as Scary Spice.
