Get Your Roks On

Following her covetable Elizabethan-inspired dress collection, shown last week in London, one of the hottest designers on the  catwalk is  Roksanda Ilincic who is now branching out to conquer another part of your body. The Belgrade-born designer has collaborated with Damaris for spring/summer on a limited edition range of underwear.

The unreasonably delicious capsule collection uses muted sweetie tones of pale lemon yellow and rhubarb pink to incredibly grown-up effect. Each piece is specially draped, twisted and hand finished with delicate raw edged silk chiffon and silk organza. Swarovski crystals are delicately covered in silk chiffon to give all of the sparkle with an underwear essential practicality.

“It was really exciting to do this limited edition collaboration with Damaris,” Ilincic revealed. “The goal was to create a dreamy and ethereal atmosphere, infused with a little bit of unexpected surprise – like the split on the back of the knickers.”

The collection – which combines Ilincic’s trademark sculptured femininity with Damaris’ luxurious quality – is available later this month from www.damaris .co.uk and comes in sizes 32 – 36, B – D. The range will retail for between £85 – £242.

The knickers retail at £139, but at the moment the bra and high waist knicker as shown above is sold out!

The body is £329 so it is an investment piece.
